About

The idea of Ré first began taking shape in the mind of founder Simran Rele back in 2014, when she was just in 8th grade—often lucid dreaming about forging her path in the Arts. Drawn to the stage, cinema, and eventually fashion, Simran trained as a professional performing artist under industry legends like Shiamak Davar, the late Tushna Dallas, and Smt. Jhelum Paranjpe, seemingly destined for a life in the Performing Arts.

Yet, the Harper’s Bazaar and Vogue magazines she secretly devoured during library hours—while her classmates lost themselves in Famous Five novels—planted the seeds for another dream: fashion.

After 12th grade, she switched paths, moving from K.C. College to Whistling Woods International, where she earned her degree in Fashion Design. Gaining experience as a fashion styling intern and choreography assistant, Simran immersed herself in different facets of the entertainment industry, all while nurturing the vision of Ré in the background.

Sampling silhouettes began just before her graduation, and on February 25, 2025, she officially introduced Ré to the world on Instagram.

From conception to execution, Ré has always been on a mission to deliver “The Eternal Silhouette.” Boldly stepping into today’s competitive market, Ré aspires not just to be a clothing label, but a global, sophisticated lifestyle brand. It stands for timelessness—like heirloom jewellery—meant to be treasured, lived in, and passed down through generations. Each design is straightforward yet complex, seamlessly weaving itself into the wearer’s journey.

Ré promises to create and champion immortal silhouettes through storytelling and the medium of fabric—a piece that lives with you, thrives with you, and stays with you.
